	Takeel was a Snivvian mercenary and burned-out spice addict who frequented Chalmun's Cantina, looking for employment. He was also known by the nickname "Hunchback". Takeel at times worked for Durga the Hutt, Jabba the Hutt, and the Galactic Empire, and earned his reputation as a double-crosser from his habit of turning over lawbreakers (including former partners) to Imperial law enforcement.
